Bridges

What is a Bridge?

A Bridge is a permanent fixture to replace a missing tooth. It is attached to a tooth or teeth on either side of your space.

Crowns

What is a Crown?

A Crown is an artificial restoration that fits over the remaining park of your prepared tooth, it is cemented on with cement. This restores the shape of your tooth and is matched in shape and colour with your other teeth.

How is a Crown prepared?

The Dentist will prepare the tooth by removing a large layer of the outer surface leaving the inner core and shaping the tooth. Following the preparation the Dentist will take an impression to send to the laboratory to have the Crown constructed and a temporary Crown will be fitted.

How much will a Crown cost?

Costs depend on the type of material used in construction of the Crown. This will be discussed with your Dentist prior to treatment where an estimate will be given.

Veneers

What is a Veneer?

Veneers can be used to close gaps between front teeth, replacing chips and cracks and treating dark or discoloured teeth. A Veneer is a thin layer of porcelain made to fit over the front surface of your tooth. It is cemented on with special adhesive. (It resembles a false nail). Minimal tooth removed to restore your smile.
